surfdoc Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Getting a single 4* hotel for $235 for those dates. Description includes both "boutique" and "pet friendly" which seems to narrow things down to either the W or the Edgewater, which would both be fine. Other 4* are missing one or both of those. Does that sound right?
AaronJB Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Please confirm the full list of amenities showing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing. Also, do you recall what you decided for the Chicago stay discussed in this prior Chicago Priceline thread? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
surfdoc Posted April 17, 2015 Author Report Posted April 17, 2015 Well then, full list: AmenitiesPet friendly Boutique hotel Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Also 80% recommended ($229 today) HOWEVER Assuming it is the W, can get a lower price directly via the hotel web site than on Hotwire. Edgewater price at their site is $100 more, about $330/nt. Do not know if that factors into your thinking or not. As for that Chicago trip, most likely stayed at City Suites. That was a great trip, walked to the ball games and a kid friendly comedy club, hotel had warm cookies in the afternoon. Last time in Lincoln Park stayed at Hotel Lincoln. Can't walk to Wrigley and parking is a b**** but great place across the street from Lincoln Park and very dog friendly.
thereuare Posted April 17, 2015 Report Posted April 17, 2015 As for that Chicago trip, most likely stayed at City Suites. Can you please add this information to your previous Chicago thread as well as indicate if you booked this thru PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, or a 'regular' rate booking. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your results/decisions as you receive them so that the information can best help others in a timely manner. For the HOTWIRE offer my guess would be the W Seattle... if you do decide to book this this conventional booking channels, please use the board's W Hotel link as found in our Support Page. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know whatever you ultimately decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
