sc24 Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 in my search i put - sleeps 3 adults, so these either should have 2 beds or bed+sofamy trip is 3/27-3/30, but 3/27 is a higher priced day so im looking at staying in one hotel for friday then moving for sat/sunday. option 1:Dates: 3/28-3/30Site: hotwire5 star hoteltrip advisor - 4./5 starshotwire - 95% reviewslocation: north strip areaFree parking Free Internet Resort SuiteCasino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s)Business centerprice - 169reg price - 259 option 2: Dates: 3/28-3/30Site: hotwire5 star hoteltrip advisor - 4/5 starshotwire - 90% reviewslocation: center stripamenities:Free parking Boutique hotel Casino Fitness centerRestaurant(s) Business center Internet access Spa servicesprice - 168reg price - 255 I'm guessing venetian suite for number 1 no idea on number 2 thanks
thereuare Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. To ensure you're seeing the complete list you will need to: 1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com and click the green 'See All Amenities' button OR if the offer doesn't appear in the Easy View... 2) search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesI believe this is the complete amenity set for each of the above: Free Parking Free Internet Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing the Venetian would be my best guess for this one. There is also this 5* which has a very similar, but slightly different amenity set: Free Parking Free Internet Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... guess here would be the Palazzo. For the Center Strip property, this is the full amenity set i'm seeing: Free Parking Boutique Casino Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... my guess for this one would be The Cosmopolitan Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. sc24 Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 Ok new question cant find it with the hotwire easy tab because i cant sort by suite. if a room is a "suite" it's guaranteed to have at least 2 things to sleep on correct? here are the specs i put this in the search criteria: 2 guests (we need 2 suites anyway, pricing it this way is cheaper than when i put 3 of 4 guests)dates - 3:28-3:30amenities: casino and suite results were 1. North Strip Area Casino Hotelprice - 139 reg 214 Complimentary Free parkingFree InternetAmenities: ResortSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business center trip advisor: 4.5/5hotwire reviews: 95% 2. thereuare Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 cant find it with the hotwire easy tab because i cant sort by suite. You could click on the GREEN 'SEE ALL AMENITIES' button to see which one(s) offer a suite. If the property is not appearing in the EASY VIEW you need to do the following to ensure you're seeing the full list of amenities associated with each property (as i don't think you have included all of them): Search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesif a room is a "suite" it's guaranteed to have at least 2 things to sleep on correct? Not necessarily... using the Palazzo/Venetian as an example, the standard rooms there are a King bed and it just so happens that the couch pulls out into a sofabed... what if that wasn't the case and the couch does not have a sofabed? Result = 1 bed in the room. ... is this an acceptable risk? Note that when you filter by Casino and Suite it does not change the hotels that are offered, it is only filtering the current list to hotels that meet the filter criteria. Given your hypothesis of a suite guaranteeing at least two sleeping accommodations in the room is flawed, if you're willing to accept the risk of only one bed in the room, let us know the complete amenity set of the offers above and we will have a look. thereuare Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 My guess for the one immediately above would be the Palazzo... not sure exactly what the 'other' 5* you're seeing, but is it one that is covered in my previous reply above? sc24 Posted February 18, 2015 Author Report Posted February 18, 2015 @thereuare if it's the palazzo im going to book it. anything else i can do to be sure? lowest room is the standard king suite, i called in and they said i can update that to a 2 queen suite for 30 a night even if a book through priceline or hotwire.
AaronJB Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 The 5* North Strip suite above for $135 w/laundry would be a possible match for the Venetian. I'd also agree on the other 5* North suite as a likely match for the Palazzo, which has been seen with this amenity set previously, as noted in the site's Hotwire Hotel List for Nevada. thereuare Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 if it's the palazzo im going to book it. anything else i can do to be sure?It can always be something other than we think, and there is no way to be 100% certain until the name is shown, but i feel very comfortable with the guess. ...i called in and they said i can update that to a 2 queen suite for 30 a night even if a book through priceline or hotwire. That is the standard price to 'upgrade' to a two bedded room at both the Venetian and Palazzo, as it's usually the same price difference at the 'retail' level between their one bedded and two bedded rooms.
