Kathy D Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Posted January 31, 2015 No, there is no "high speed internet" amenity ... just "Free Internet" & "Restaurant" While there are many 4 star with "high speed internet" it seems this and The Residence Inn by Marriott are the only 2 with "Free Internet" but The Residence Inn by Marriott has "Fitness" and "Business" as well - that's why I was thinking it was The Gotham. Thoughts?
AaronJB Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you also see internet in addition to free internet? If so, this amenity set has been seen with the Gotham previously, but there's always the chance it may be something else, given how common these few amenities are. Kathy D Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Posted January 31, 2015 I did that and when I click the green "full amenities" button, it comes up with a box that says FULL AMENITIES, but there is nothing else in the box When I click that green box for other offers, more amenities show up

But the amenities in the box now list this: Free Internet, Restaurant(s), Internet access I know there is no guarantee, but what are your thoughts on this being the Gotham? I think the above sums up my thoughts. 'Regular rates' for your dates start at $162/nite, so it's not as if this hotel is $300 thru regular booking channels and is being offered at an unlikely discount, but as per above, this property is not seen very often and the amenities listed could apply to most 4* hotels in NYC. You could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Kathy D Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 I wanted to follow up so this thread could be closed. I really wanted The Gotham, and not being 100% sure I'd get it through Hotwire, I booked direct with the hotel.I found a rate of 135.00 for my nights. Thank you for your help
