gailamundsen Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 When I look on hotwire I See a 4 star hotel for 97. Palm Springs Feb 9-13 Resorted fees 15.55 Amenities-free internet, fitness centre, self-serve laundry, pet ok, pool, boutique hotel, restaurant, airport shuffle, business center, I don't know if this a good option for us, and I don't know if it would be better to bid on priceline for 2 rooms instead. We are a family of 4
AaronJB Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
gailamundsen Posted January 19, 2015 Author Report Posted January 19, 2015 Ok when I tried as you suggested I did see the green button. (hurray). The amenities then had in addition Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, accessible for visually impaired, hearing impaired. Does that help?
AaronJB Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. I'd guess that the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs would be a maybe, but that's a guess and this may be something else. Please keep up updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 I would agree with the guess of the Hard Rock. If you decide to bid on PRICELINE my guess is that you're likely looking in the $80-$90 area per room. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

thereuare Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. gailamundsen Posted August 3, 2017 Author Report Posted August 3, 2017 HI, I am sorry I forgot to respond earlier. We did the hotwire express route as mentioned above . There were four of us so for that reason we went with Hotwire. We ended up at the Riviera which was old, but well maintained, cool pool area, nice area. We enjoyed our stay there . We went through the HOTWIRE link . Everything worked well.. Sorry I cant remember the price
thereuare Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Thanks for the follow-up. You can still view the room rate per nite, as well as the amenities associated with this property, by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT >> MY TRIPS link near the top right of their home page (and then the 'trip details' link next to this purchase). NOTE that there may also be 'accessible' amenities listed in a second block of text below the 'regular' amenities. Having the complete information will allow us to edit the topic title accordingly and have a link back to this thread in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Thanks. gailamundsen Posted August 3, 2017 Author Report Posted August 3, 2017 Hello, I went to hotwire but they said I didn't have an account. So I thought I must have booked with Priceline but I went there and it also did not show that I booked a trip with them. I was pretty sure it was with Hotwire because of our group size but I can't understand why it isn't showing up. Sorry I didn't do it right away when I booked it.
thereuare Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 Thanks for checking... likely used an account with a different email address. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
gailamundsen Posted August 5, 2017 Author Report Posted August 5, 2017 I seem to be at a dead end here. We went in 2015 and I am unable to remember the account or much else other than we enjoyed our stay there.
thereuare Posted August 5, 2017 Report Posted August 5, 2017 No problem. ... but you did need to reply to your previous thread to put it back in the queue if you wanted us to have a look at that one, as per: On 8/3/2017 at 6:36 PM, thereuare said: then reply here and we will have a look at your most recent post above.
