Priceline Hotel: 3* Pittsburgh (Greentree) Holiday Inn

Minor disappointment. First time I bid $40 and failed to get the Radisson. Got the Holiday Inn right next door, which I didn't know was 3*. Only disappointed because the HI doesn't have an indoor pool, only outdoor. I've never stayed there, as I always got the Radisson. It is pet friendly though, so Lucy will be accompanying me on our trip, but the kids won't have a pool those two days. Which is ok, because I bid for my trusty standby at the Airport the following 2 days, so they will have a pool, and we have one at the Radisson in Morgantown (See my WV) post, the day before these. I'll just request a 1pm check out at the Radisson in Morgantown (they allow that) so they can swim that day early!

Anyway, details.

First bid, $40, 3*, Greentree area only, accepted. HI Greentree has high speed internet, fitness room, pet friendly, twice as many parking spaces as rooms, kids eat free (that helps this trip too), and, well, an outdoor pool that is irrelevant in Dec! Very convenient to Pittsburgh, so these two days we will do our family stuff downtown, and the 2 days out at the Airport (see my next post) we'll visit family and such and do the HI Airport pool and Robinson Town Center/IKEA and such.

2 rooms at $40 bid + $19.13 taxes and fees, $99.13 ttl.
