moshulu
Took a guess since there was not a lot to guide us on either Hotwire or Priceline Forums. Got it on first bid; with taxes and fees came out to $69 which beats the best online price of $119. Only concern is some negative comments on TripAdvisor.com (which lists it as a 4*). But it is in our desired location and only one night so it'll probably be ok. Link to comment

thereuare
If there is not a lot of info on the board you should still ask for help beforehand as we have a variety of methods that we use in order to develop suggested bidding strategies.Enjoy your stay and thanks for the post. moshulu
Just got back and the hotel was actually better than expected. Location is exellent; easily drove into DC and Md. suburbs and it actually sits above the metro stop, but we didn't use it this trip. No negative-PL attitude at front desk, very decent room, and the only disappointment, which was mentioned elsewhere- was the bed was rather lumpy and surprisingly second-rate. But we slept fine.
