frugalnotcheap
Could expand search to include copley and WTC area. 3 1/2 * is a possiblity as well. Any help is much appreciated. Link to comment
thereuare
Am i correct that you would rather bid up to $100 for the Downtown zone before including the other zone(s)... or is price most important? frugalnotcheap
There's been a slight change in plans, and I'll also answer your question:* I now need a room Dec. 17 in Boston for one night* 4-star only* I don't want to bid more than $100 is the most important* The order of zones I would like to bid in (in order of preference) is: -- Copley -- Downtown -- maybe WTC Link to comment
thenewbie
Copley tends to be more expensive than Downtown on Priceline. I haven't seen Copley won for less than $75. That being said, it is likely that you will be successful under $100. For 12/17, the Colonnade's lowest rate is $159 and Sheraton's is $169.Here's one method to bid:Select 4* Copley....Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone 1...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone 2...Bid $80, if rejected close browser. thereuare
To take it a step further, if the above is rejected you could proceed as follows...Select 4* Downtown...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $62, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Downtown and re-bid zone2...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Downtown and Copley...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Downtown and Copley and re-bid zone2...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $100.Let us know how it goes.
