WillTravel Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 I'm glad you got the area you wanted. Is this the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum? But note for future bidding, that London Bridge and Notting Hill areas do both have 4* hotels, although none have been reported on this board. However, Priceline offers them, and it's quite possible that someone is going to be the first person to get these hotels, whatever they might be. So there aren't any free 4* rebid zones for London, the way the zones are currently divided up.
skybeedoo Posted November 29, 2005 Author Report Posted November 29, 2005 Yes it is the Holiday Inn Kensington ForumMy intention was to use London Bridge as a 3* rebid zone.
WillTravel Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 The problem with using it as a rebid zone is that London Bridge does have 4* hotels, according to Priceline. The list on this site is not complete, because no one has reported a successful 4* bid there yet, but it's certainly possible.
skybeedoo Posted November 29, 2005 Author Report Posted November 29, 2005 I amy not have understood correctly the point you were making. So you are saying I may have ended up with a hotel in London Bridge area, which would have been less than ideal.
WillTravel Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Yes, that's what I was trying to say :).I'm glad it didn't happen in this case, but every now and then someone posts about a similar sort of bid where they do get a hotel in an area they didn't want or expect.
