casperslc
I am looking to stay in the Baltimore Inner Harbor at a 3.5 star property for around $75 - $85 on June 29 for one night. Is this possible? Any suggestions on how to bid? Link to comment
thereuare
Please start by following-up your previous Boston Priceline thread with whatever you ended up doing for that of your trip. Then... Note that the zones in this area have recently changes and i think the area(s) you have mentioned above are now part of two different PRICELINE zones: Inner Harbor - Downtown - Fells Point (this area is now one large area encompassing the merger of three previous zones) Baltimore Stadiums Are both of the zones above acceptable? If so, i think there is a chance you can get a 4* hotel within your budget... would you want to try for a 4* first OR do you prefer the least expensive 3.5* hotel for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know the information above and we'll advise accordingly. casperslc
Thank you. I followed up on that thread. I would prefer the Camden Yard area but I am open to both zones. If you think I can get a 4 star at that price that would be great! Thanks for your help. Link to comment
thereuare
The highest star rating offered in the Stadiums zone is 2.5*... did you want try for this OR stick with a 4* in the Inner Harbor-Downtown-Fells Point zone? Below is a strategy for a 4* in the Downtown zone, but if you prefer to try for a 2.5* in the Stadium zone let us know and we'll revise accordingly) When bidding 4* in the Baltimore region you have EIGHT re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* Inner Harbor-Downtown-Fells Point... Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $53, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $63, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $70 If the above is rejected PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 4* hotel in this zone (Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center) for $78/nite, but using the discount link and code in my signature will take this down to $74/nite and you can take this one as your best 4* hotel deal and within your budget. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
