Used PRICELINE link. Bidding up to $60 for a 3, 3.5, or 4* in areas 3, 4, 10, and 11 failed and Hot.wire's hotels were also high.

 

I used PRICELINE EXPRESS and figured the 3* in West - Chesterfield was probably the Hyatt Place and it was. The hotel's web site best price is $144. I've never had to pay so much to stay in St Louis. Maybe something's going on.

Used PRICELINE link to extend my stay until 6/6/14. Price was the same, but I may have to change rooms. SUMMER14 coupon saved a little bit.

At check-in let them know that you have a second reservation for an additional nite and ask that they block the room for you for the additional nite. This will usually prevent you from needing to change rooms, but you may need to go to the front desk as some point in time in 'switch day' in order to officially check-out and then check-in again.
