Priceline Hotel: 4* New Orleans (French Quarter) Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

Coming off cruise and will be in New Orleans for most of the day June 14.  Leaving out morning of June 15.  Would like to stay in/near French Quarter.  Very familiar with bidding process and strategy with Priceline.  Also very familiar with Hotwire.  Question is:  Wait to book closer to June 14, or book now?  Will prices potentially drop closer to my date?  Nothing in particular happening that weekend in NOLA that I'm aware of, so there seem to be plenty of rooms available.  Trying to get 3.5 or 4 star for around a hundred bucks.  Actually will need two rooms.

Please provide a follow-up for your prior Las Vegas Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and offer our thoughts on the above NOL stay.

Price.Line normal rate $229.  PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal (appeared to be Sheraton, but not for sure) $110.  Started bidding at $85.  Won it at $90.  Looking forward to the trip.  Used BB PRICELINE link.
