Not a big gambler, but like to play low-stakes poker and wife likes slots. Celebrating 50th birthday. Mid to late November. Looking for 5* on strip north (do not want Trump). Hoping for Venetian or Palazzo or Wynn. Budget $100 per night +/-. Very familiar with how to bid, etc. Need advice on how far in advance to book for best deal. Also, best time of month in November. Thanks for any advice.

Hotwire hot Deal. For dates Nov. 15-19. Hotwire hot Rate of $88. Says normally $204. 90% recommended. Amenities include: Resort, Spa, Restaurant, All rooms non-smoking, pool, pet-friendly, free parking, fitness center. $30 resort fee.

I think I figured out it is Trump Condo, which I do not want. The "kitchenette" gives it away.

What is your maximum budget per nite (before fees/taxes) for this trip? Are you also considering the Strip South zone or only Strip North?

Rates for your dates are not high, but under $100 in the Strip North zone for dates that include a weekend is not likely. At the moment i think you're going to need to get closer to the $100-$125 area.

Help identify please. "Luxe hotel at a resort packed with fun" Says "Hurry, last person got The Venetian". Regular price supposedly $209. Secret hot Rate $80. 4.5 on Trip Advisor. 90% recommended by Hotwire customers. No mention of casino. I'm guessing Trump. But is Trump considered Strip North since it is actually not on the strip?
