Travelling to LV in August, looking at two possible hotels. Any help with ID would be great.......

 

$99 5* Center Strip with Amenities listed as:

  Condo
  Suite

Business Center

 

This must be the Vdara right? 

 

Second is 5* Center Strip Casino Hotel for $138 per night with:

  Fitness Center
  Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
  Business Center
  Internet access
  Golf Nearby
Tennis Nearby

 

Do you guys think this is Bellagio? Cosmo? Or something else?

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each listing, do you see more amenities (such as accessible amenities) then what you have listed above?

Is this Vdara? Or Cosmo?

They wouldn't call Trump "Center Strip" would they? That seems to be the only property that fits the "Free Internet, Suite, Full kitchen, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Spa Services, Kitchenette "Still Gathering Reviews" description.......

So the Hot Deal Condo at $112 from Aug 6-9 is the Vdara Jet Luxury; very happy with this price and location. I'm a big fan of this hotel and from what I understand I'll be in a Deluxe Suite which seems pretty darn nice (I've previously only stayed in Vdara standard rooms which I found great on their own; really excited for the suite.)

Ok, fun follow up time...... Right after booking this property I was discussing it with a patient of mine who said that he had also booked it and had expected the same as I did; not a deluxe suite (ie. Vdara standard room) but a suite with bedroom, laundry, full kitchen as per the site/amenities. Turns out when he arrived he was in a Vdara standard room with a kitchenette and nothing else...... Ever the sceptic I called Jet Luxury directly and was told that I did in fact have a bare bones Vdara room booked. The woman there said she couldn't do much about it and to call Hotwire. Called Hotwire who initially told me that it was my fault for assuming that the amenities list was for the room and not for the hotel. When I pointed out that the listing said "laundry" in it and that the Vdara does not have laundry available for guests unless they are in a Vdara suite or higher AND that it says "Full Kitchen" in the listing I was placed on hold for 25 minutes (off & on, she kept coming back to say "don't leave") at which point I was told that it was Jet's fault but I could have a full refund but NOT the room I had thought I was getting. 

 

Needless to say I have zero intention to ever use Hotwire again. VERY unhappy about it. 

So yeah, BEWARE that listing I guess......

Sorry to hear this didn't work out as you had thought, but glad to see that the stay was refunded and that you are now free to make other plans.

The amenities are provided by the hotel and HOTWIRE displays the information provided to them. It may take a little while, but the description for this property will likely be updated in the future to reflect the actual amenities that are available. Unfortunately HOTWIRE doesn't own any inventory or rooms at this property so they can't simply give you the room type that you were expecting... i suspect a different remedy may have been offered if you showed up at the hotel and didn't receive the room type booked/expected, but given you had booked less than 24 hours prior, and your stay 2+ months away, HOTWIRE's response it what i would expect.

If you'd like to try PRICELINE and need help with a 'replacement' for this stay please start a NEW TOPIC.
