goodricb Posted November 22, 2005 Author Report Posted November 22, 2005 I suppose my plans would depend on the price. the max I woul be willing to pay is $99/night, as this is my fall back option at the Grand Hyatt. Thanks
thereuare Posted November 22, 2005 Report Posted November 22, 2005 So if you could get accepted for a $99 bid what would you dates be?Have you already booked the Hyatt as a back-up... as we are an affliliate (as per our SUPPORT PAGE which appears on every page of the board) and using our HYATT.com link for your purchase/reservation helps keep this site running. goodricb Posted November 25, 2005 Author Report Posted November 25, 2005 Check in on dec 30th - check out on Jan 1st. Thanks for all your help. Unfortunately i tried to book the group rate online but it is only available via the 1800 number.
thereuare Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 I'm somewhat surprised that rates are not very high. This is how i would bid, not even using your least prefered zone at this point...Select 4* White House/Downtown...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Dupont/Woodley Park...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* White House/Downtown and Dupont/Woodley Park...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $99.If the above fails we'll then take a closer look at if you'd rather go for a 3* in the above zones or if you'd prefer a 4* in the Georgetown area.Any questions feel free to ask. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
