ilikedeals Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 When searching for Dec 23rd I got 2 hotels to come up in the Wisconsin Dells:2.5* amenities: Resort, restaurant, pool, fitness, spa services, gold nearby, business center, and laundry facilites.$1502* doesn't show any amenities.$58Does anyone know what these might be?
thereuare Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 Do you still see these properties on your search? I don't see either of the above appear (or are you search for more than double occupancy?)Would you seriously consider a 2.5* at $150+? ilikedeals Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Posted November 14, 2005 I did make a request for 2 adults and 2 kids.I'm not very interested in the 2.5* for $150, but I am curious what hotels they both might be.
millerman Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Unless it had an indoor water park at that resort I would not want to stay there at that time of year. Almost everything is closed down in the dells in december.
ilikedeals Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 Once again there is a 2 star hotel for March 30th for $42. This would just be for an overnight stopover. I sure wish I knew what it might be. There's also a 2.5 star for $134. Yikes.
thereuare Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 If this is a trip you make a few times a year maybe it's worth the $42 on a one-nite stay in order to know for the future? To evaluate if this is worthwhile, what is the best rate you can find for this nite thru traditional booking services? ilikedeals Posted March 17, 2007 Author Report Posted March 17, 2007 Expedia's lowest price is $68 for a 2*. Travelocity has the Days Inn for $49, you don't think it's that do you?
thereuare Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 It could be... there are no amenties listed so all you can really go by is that it's a 2* rated hotel, which i'd assume some Days Inn are. ilikedeals Posted March 20, 2007 Author Report Posted March 20, 2007 It's now up to $52 and there is a pool listed in the amenities.
