Hotwire Hotel: Ottawa Hotwire Hotel Help

I just did a look on hotwire for a hotel 24 Dec - 26 Dec in Ottawa, it came back with

3-star hotel in Downtown Ottawa $55

This midrange establishment offers more than just the basics in style, comfort and customer service.

and

4-star hotel in Downtown Ottawa $75

This upscale establishment offers thoughtful features, quality rooms and a high level of service.

Any thoughts on what these are?

without knowing the amenities, it's hard to say with any certainty. The 4 star could be the Westin. The three star could either be the Radisson or the Delta.

I looked at the 3* for Ottawa using the same dates and a pool icon was shown. This would suggest the Delta. (The Radisson diagonally across from the Delta does not have a pool, but their guests can use the Delta pool).

4* showed a B for Boutique hotel. This would suggest The Arc.

Note: The past 2/3 years at Xmas and I think it was the Crown Plaza (1 block from the Delta/Radisson) that had a rate of $49 - 55 Cdn/ night. for about 10 days, e.g. Dec. 21 - 30 and some days after Jan 1. If it is advertised again this year and it may not be till Dec 10 - 15, I will post it.

Yup, probably the Arc with the Boutique 'B' -though it is some nerve calling the rooms quality....they are very tiny, not surprising as this is a refurbished Hojo's. Nice place, actually, but not really in an area of great interest - office blocks and such.
