tiffychar Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I just purchased a 3.5 star hotel in London (The Financial District) and thought I was going to get a good deal as I usually do on Hotwire...but, no, not this time. The hotel is the Thistle Barbican and on Expedia is it listed at $114 a night. I paid $232, plus tax, so $299 :) . It is really a 3 star hotel and it is a 10 minute walk to the tube station. Trumped by Hotwire!
WillTravel Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Do Double the Difference. There are lots of posts here about people who have done that. You'll still come out ahead. What amenities did the hotel have, and for what dates did you get it?
