donkey Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I am going to NY city on 4/11-4/14 would like to have help finding a hotel somewhere in midtown 4*-5*.
dahammer Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 there is only one 5* hotel, Waldorf-Astoria, and it rarely appears. What is your maximum bid?
dahammer Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 rates for your dates are high, you will need to increase your maximum bid as its unlikely that you will get a 4* property for $150.Using EasyClickTravel Travel, it appears that the Holiday Inn Midtown is available "on request" for $213.
donkey Posted November 11, 2005 Author Report Posted November 11, 2005 I just got the Park South Hotel on East 28th st for $200. Don't know anything about it. Does any one?
dahammer Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Was this your first bid in this zone? What is the star rating for this property?
thereuare Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I think this was an overbid... see this hotel on QUIKBOOK for these dates. Confirm that i'm looking at the same hotel and dates, if so send to Priceline who should refund the difference based upon their "best price guarantee". Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
donkey Posted November 11, 2005 Author Report Posted November 11, 2005 Thanks for the info on the overbid. That is the same hotel and i did submit it to Priceline. Thanks again.
