Looks to me like Toronto hotel rates are noticeably up for March and April. Any comments about that? Any tips for bidding at certain times of the day or days of the week?

It may be an instance of particular date/s of travel - what are your date/s of travel and desired budget per night for this stay? AaronJB Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 Downtown at the 4* level you are likely looking at $115-130 for an accepted bid, although you could start a bit lower. Do forum writers think there can be any difference bidding at different times of day or different days of week or month?
AaronJB Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 There is no best time to bid - Price.line and Hot.wire are entirely a matter of inventory and it really becomes whether or not hotels feel a need for your particular date/s to offer discounted inventory (and how much, if/when, and unfortunately there's no way to know.) It seems it simply is a highly booked weekend. I'm surprised as it is not part of the "March Break" school vacation. Thanks for your comments.
