Last night I saw a 4 star all inclusive in PV (Nuevo Vallarta) on Hotwire listed for $175 a night with a retail of $680. The dates I used were Jan 16 - 23/06. I realize they are probably exaggerating but it still sounds enticing (but too good to be true). It basically lists every amenity except "non-motorized watersports". I tried to do some digging but the only resort that seemed close was Grand Velas Vallarta.Anyone have any idea??? I really need the help as our Mayan for Jan 16 - 23 has fallen through and I'm getting desperate.
WillTravel Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Did you try making up a dummy vacation package?It might be a good idea to look at Expedia as well to see if you come up with anything that sounds close. That's what I try for matches when I have no hotel history to work with. What amenities did they list? I don't know anything about PV, but what usually concerns me most about an unknown hotel is the location. Is the entire Hotwire zone acceptable to you in terms of location?What sort of issues is your wife concerned about?

As for the location, I think anywhere in NV is OK. My wife is just really worried that we are going to get something totally different than advertised (eg. not on the beach, not all-inclusive, dirty, etc.....)As I mentioned, Hotwire showed this resort with every possible amenity except non-motorized water equipment.
