TDJ Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Hello,I'm looking for 4*, for 1 night on November 18. My wife, her friend and 2 girls headed to a show, so do not want to venture out of what appears to be Priceline's MTW area. Biggest issue is need for 2 beds. I've used Priceline before and simply called the hotel and re-confirmed 2 beds without problems, but not in NYC.As of now, alternative is Westin at $369. Hoping to do better, but want nice hotel.Any help would be great.
dahammer Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 this would not be a good scenario to use Priceline as it only guarantees accomodations for two in a room. This could be a small room with a double bed, not even enough room for a rollaway.Using Hotwire, you can search for up to 4 in a room. You may also want to consider EasyClickTravel Travel as there are several "off the record" properties that show status as being "on request" which means that you will be notified within 72 hours if your reservation is accepted. Use the Reverse Easy Click Travel Tool tool to decipher the name of an off the record property. I think its going to be difficult to get a deal in the Times square area, so if you do book directly, please use the Travel Links to Help Support BetterBidding
