Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) The Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino

I'm trying to book either the Wynn or Palazzo for February 21-23 (Fri-Sun). I'm envious of the people who got the Wynn for $80/night, but I realize that rate is likely not achievable for a weekend stay.

So right now there's the following PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal available for my dates:

Las Vegas North Strip

Feb. 21-23

$149/night

9.0 Guest Rating

Amenities:

Pool

Free Parking

Restaurant

Business Center

Casino

Fitness Center

I've ruled out the Encore or Venetian because on the List View they have guest ratings below 9.0, and the Wynn and Palazzo are both showing 9.0. For other dates I've seen a 5* on the North Strip with a rating of 8.0, which must be either the Venetian or Encore.

Also, I tried the Name Your Own Price option and bid it up from $80 to $135 yesterday ($14 less tha PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal) with no success!

I realize $149/night is not the best deal, but I picked up the Vdara for $73 for my other two nights so it averages out to $111 a night for two 5*'s, which isn't too bad.

Is using the guest review rating a reliable indicator? Is there any way of differentiating between the Palazzo and Wynn on PRICELINE? I realize it's not as clear cut as it is on HOTWIRE.

Palazzo has been reported with this combo. And Wynn would also be an option for this PRICELINE EXPRESS deal.

I would slightly lean toward the PRICELINE EXPRESS property being the Palazzo... it has been seen a few times with this amenity set, the Wynn has only been reported to the board once thru PRICELINE EXPRESS (but the user didn't include the amenities, so it's unknown if they would potentially be the same as the Palazzo or not)

I just had a friend purchase a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal (about an hour ago) with those exact same amenities for March 22 and 23rd and it was the Palazzo.

Also, I'll note with the "general" nature of the PRICELINE Express amenities, it is fairly common for a listing to be a few different possibilities.

So after about a week of waiting for price drops, I ended up getting this deal in my original post for the Saturday Feb 22nd night only.

It was likely in fact the Palazzo showing as a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $156 and I got it for $146 as a Name Your Own Price PRICELINE bid. I started bidding up from $90 and was surprised I didn't hit a deal sooner, but I'll take it over the $240 advertised rate on most sites.

For the Friday Feb 21st night we booked on Hotwire and got the Wynn at $152/night.
