Hotwire Hotel: Help identify Detroit hotel

Hi, we are currently stranded in Orlando because our flight yesterday to Amsterdam via JFK was canceld.

We are now booked on a flight tomorrow via Detroit. But now there is a snowstorm expected there.

Maybe it is wise to book a hotel in Detroit because we cannot get other flights, everything is full.

Now I see a 4* hotel for$162 in the airport area for 2 adults and 1child.

Do you think this is the Westin? And is the Westin the only hotel on the airport?

Are you willing to commit to a non-refundable hotel in Detroit before you know if you'll even be stranded there? If/when flights start to get cancelled i would expect inventory and/or pricing to change very quickly.

Please also follow-up/update your Priceline NYC thread with any decisions you have made or your current thoughts for that trip.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

NOTE that to see the complete amenities associated with each you will need to do the following:

1) search HOTWIRE and select the offer from the search results page

2) click the BOOK NOW button

3) in the TRIP SUMMARY BOX click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities

We ended up not booking the hotel. And that was a good decision.

Our flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was not cancelled. They made us sit in the plane for 6 hours but eventually we departed.

We were very glad we could leave, otherwise we were stranded in Detroit for days.
