Priceline Hotel: Help with Whistler from Over NYE

My friend and I are flying into Seattle on December 30 and we plan to drive to Whistler and stay there for a few nights. We're flexible, but we're currently planning to stay in Whistler from Dec 30 - Jan 2 OR we can also do one less night from Dec 31 - Jan 2 or even Dec 31 - Jan 3. I'm not sure whether there is a better strategy here in terms of dates for Priceline.

I don't see any recent wins for Whistler and the hotel prices are super expensive during the time we want. Holiday Inn is over $300/night and almost all other options are closer to $500+!

Any suggestions before I start bidding?

I checked the Hotwire hotel lists but there's nothing for Whistler Village South area. Does anyone have any ideas which hotel this may be on Hotwire?

Under amenities, the only one that is highlighted green is Free Internet... the other are all blacked out so I assume they aren't included.

Please start by following-up your previous Hotiwre New York thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then replyi to this thread and we will have a look at your post above.

Also, based upon your Hotwire Whistler thread, are you looking to extend this trip further OR are those dates cheaper and they would replace the dates above?

I have updated the previous thread regarding my New York trip. Sorry for the delay.

In regards to my upcoming Whistler trip, I was analyzing both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE options to find the best rate. It wasn't to extend the trip, rather it was one or the other or none.

Hotel options are all > $500/night for our dates now in Whistler so I ended up finding a cheaper condo yesterday :)
