I need help bidding for a resort category for Orlando disney area. Since we won't have a car, we need a hotel with a goog shuttle service. We've been to Hilton in the past, and would rather try some others. What are the exact hotels that have been popping up in this area? The list is from 2003, so I would like to have more updated info. From looking at what others getting, it's Hilton, Gaylord Palms, Wyndham, Omni? Is that right? :) Thank you very much.

check the list again and you will see the following:

This list is NOT a complete list of all hotels that Priceline offers in this area, it is ONLY a compilation of hotels that have already been reported on this forum. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline all the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time. As well, the geographic boundaries of an area are subject to change, so it is always a good idea to look at the Priceline map before purchasing. DO NOT USE THIS LIST to determine what areas to add when attempting to bid again within the 24 hour window (CLICK HERE for information on how to add cities in order to bid again).

In light of the above, you MAY get a hotel that is NOT on this list, or get a hotel on this list but at a star level you didn't expect (if the star rating has changed).

Lastly, this board (and its members) are here to assist you, if you have a question or are unsure of something, please ask before purchasing (since Priceline stipulates NO cancellations/refunds)! However, by using this board you agree that you do so at your own risk! (in other words, NO WHINING allowed

this list was started in 2003 and reflects changes that have been reported by members since then

Welcome to BetterBidding!

The hotels lists are current as per the last reported post for each property.

The best advice would be to post any hotels that you are being presented with by Hotwire (star rating, amenities, dates, zones, etc) and considering and we will try to help you identify them.

But why hotwire although this is Priceline bidding? Is this to see what's out there? Sorry :) I've never used Priceline before so I don't understand...

Anyway, I checked Hotwire, and for October 27-30 for 3 nights, I found:

4-star hotel in Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney

Restaurant

Fitness

Business Center

Pool

Golf Nearby

4-star hotel in Main Gate - Champion's Gate

Restaurant

Fitness

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Pool

High Speed Internet Access

What should I do next?

Thank you.

I suggested Hotwire as it appeared that you were looking for a specific hotel... is that not the case? Are you flexible enough to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating your are bidding?

We don't have any biases and just try to help you get what it is you're looking for... if you want to try priceline then just let us know the zone(s) you're willing to accept, the minimum star level (4 star?), and your maximum bid amount... we'll suggest a strategy for your to follow.
