titleman Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 The last couple of time that I've arrived to check into a motel that I won on priceline the clerk looks at my reservations and say smoking right? I don't want a smoking room and both times the clerk changed it and gave me a non smoking but both clerks said priceline was always doing this.Any insight as to why priceline would do this? Anyone else run into this?
thereuare Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Most rooms are booked 'run of house' which means that they are assigned upon check-in based upon what is available at that time. In instances when a room type is preassigned, PRICELINE does request non-smoking, but it is really based upon what the inventory the hotel loads into the system. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.PS- please remember to follow-up your Priceline Express Grand Junction thread with whatever you decide to do for that trip. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
