Priceline Hotel: help with bidding SF Dec 25-29

First time in San Francisco and I'm looking for a 3.5* or 4* hotel in an area that is accessible by public transit and close to main tourist attractions.

I'm looking to spend no more than $120.

Any suggestions to which area and bidding strategy?
