Thankful to find such a great site, hopefully it helps me out and then I can return the favor!

I'm looking to travel to Times Square from 11/7-11/10 and I'm using HOTWIRE with a $235/night budget. Here's what I got.

3* Times Square-theater district area 11/7-11/10/13

$220

75% recommend

I'd also then read this thread: Hotels Near Times Sqaure as you really don't need to stay directly in Times Square... there are plenty of nearby zones that can be just as convenient for the average visitor's plans and offer far better value (as evidenced by the 65% and 75% recommendations of the hotels above)

If you decide you must be in Times Square, i don't have a guess for the 3.5* property above, but for the 3* my guess would be the Washington Jefferson.

In light of my comments above i think this represents a better value (as one alternate example):

4* ESB zone for $187/nite

Free Internet

Pet Friendly

Fitness

Restaurant

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

... best guess would be the St Giles The Court (which is higher rated, better reviewed, and less expensive)
