Hey. I hope you are well. It's been a few years, but you've assisted me in the past and I'm hoping you can again. Over the last several days, I've placed bids on Priceline, using the links on this site and following the standard format, for the following:

4*-Up to $210.00, with no accepted bids

3.5*-Up to $210.00, with no accepted bids

3*-Up to $180.00, with no accepted bids

I'm about to try again today. I am amendable to splitting my stay. Any advice? Thanks.

It looks like the last two nites of your stay are the issue... for the first 3 nites there are multiple possibilities within the above, but the last 2 nites are going to be costly.

Initial Search for a quick overview of prices:

10/16-10/19

4* USW $200

3* FW $168

3.5* FW $225

3.5* USW $210

10/19-10/21

3* USW $178 (likely Mystic Hotel but i can't comment if 'true' 3* quality or not)

4* FW $289

**everything else in the mid-$300's and up

So given the above what combinations of star rating/prices are you considering... i wasn't sure if you're trying to keep the entire trip within a certain budget OR a hotel for the first 3 nites that meet your current criteria and then 'the best you can do' for the remaining two nites.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, Saturday night is the issue, I think. So, I split my stay. My bid of $225.00 was accepted by Parc 55 for 10/16-19/2013. I attempted to extend my stay, but was declined. I have not started bidding for 10/19-21/2013. I can live with an "ok" place for the final two nights, but would be willing to pay up to $250.00 or so if necessary. Any ideas? Thanks.
