Have to start with ...This must be a very busy weekend in Vegas because it took 13 attempts over 2 days & winning bid is much higher than all other posts on here for 5* Strip North

NOTE: Tonight's advertised rates for Zone 2 hotels is $369-$409

Wanted 5* - Zone 2 because we like this area of strip (Hoping for Wynn, Encore, Palazzo or Venetian)

#3 - 5* Added Zone 8 $155....(free bid since no 5* in this Zone)...rejected

#4 - 5* Added Zone 5 $170...(free bid since no 5* in this Zone)...rejected

#5 - 5* Added Zone 1 $185...(Really wanted area of zone 2 but was willing to chance getting Zone 1's, 5 stars of possible Bellagio, Vdara, 4 Season's, Madarin, Aria or Cosmo..all of which rates are $349-700)...rejected

Big fight is weekend prior..14th so no idea what is happening the following weekend. Definitely looking forward to the trip & Thank you. Hope the post helps others when bidding.

Your post confuses me. Do you know if Priceline has changed their area designations? You mentioned wanting Zone 2, but that is now Fremont City. You also mentioned Zone 1, but that is Boulder City. You then mentioned being able to use Zones 8 and 9 for extra bids, because they did not have any 5* hotels, but that is now the Strip North and the Strip South. I have not bid in Las Vegas before, and that is why I could use your help to clear up my confusion. Thanks!

This is the reason we ask users to post the zone names, and not the numbers, as the zone numbers will change any time that PRICELINE adds/removes/changes the name of a zone.
