I wanted to share my failed bids with you incase they could help someone.

3*

PHL Airport

11/23/2005

$48...rejected then added free rebid

$51...rejected then added 2nd free rebid

$55...rejected

In your opinions, can I get a hotel room at the airport the night before Thanksgiving or am I crazy for even trying?

you may want to book a cancellable backup and keep trying Priceline. Also, the hotels that have been reported so far as 2* and 2.5* are just fine for a one night stay, would you consider these?

Thanks for the reply. I would consdier a 2* or a 2.5*, but I'd rather wait until closer to the date to lower the star rating. My reason of thinking is b/c most of the 3*'s include parking or charge a very small parking fee. I know the Marriott Countyard does not allow parking, even at a fee, so I'd like to wait until the very end to consider it.

Thanks again.

the Airport Marriott definately will charge for parking, as far as the other 3* properties, they may offer free parking for the length of your stay, but I'm not sure if they can accomodate long term parking. You may want to reserve a room at the Holiday Inn as they offer long term parking. You can use the Travel Links to Help Support BetterBidding to access the Holiday Inn website.
