Priceline Hotel: what are the 3* hotels in Munich?

The hotel list only shows 4* hotels in Munich. Does anyone know what are the 3* hotels in Munich - City Center South?

I tried bidding 3* in Munich - City Center South & City Center North for 95 and got rejected. My dates were 10/10-10/12 for 2 rooms.

You tried bidding 3* or 4* already?

We only know of the hotels that have been reported... all of which are in the PRICELINE HOTEL LIST for this area.

If you'd like help with a bidding strategy please clarify which star rating you have already bid for and which you want to bid for going forward, as well as your maximum bid.

Just roughly guessing that some of the 3 stars (or at least 1) might be Mercure Hotels.. I think there's one in the upper part of Leopoldstrasse (which should be Munich North) - but only a guess! Probably some more hotels.

You might want to check other sites for reports of 3* hotels in the South zone and then of course post your win here. I think I recall a post on a website I don't frequent anymore.

On the other hand, at the rates you were bidding, you should be able to score a room at one of the 4* properties in the North zone, which both are conveniently located. Is there any particular reason you are aiming for the South zone?

One future possibility in this zone will be the new Courtyard scheduled to open Oct 2006 about half a mile from the central train station and in the South zone as it is now.
