stuseattle Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 We're looking into hitting Vancouver for New Year's...just seeing what's available on Hotline before, perhaps, bidding on Priceline. (Sometimes, if we're pretty sure what hotel it is, we just go with the Hotwire ones.)Anyway, a 3* popped up for $65/night for the three nights we're there...pretty good price. It's in the Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District but the only amenities are "Complimentary Breakfast, Golf Nearby." Anyone have any ideas at all what this might be? Breakfasts, in the past, have usually meant Residence Inn or that type of thing. There's also the 3.5* Downtown Vancouver West hotel with "Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Tennis Nearby, Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service);" sounds like it might be the Vancouver Coast Plaza...anyone ever stay there? Is it pretty close to everything?(The last two times we stayed in Vancouver, we stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver...now THAT'S centrally located and a great hotel.)stu
thereuare Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 Would this be just for one nite, 12/31/05? What are the actual check-in/check-out dates of your stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
stuseattle Posted October 2, 2005 Author Report Posted October 2, 2005 12/29/05 - 1/01/06...just for the three nights.stu
shammes53 Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 The 3.5* is most likely the Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Tennis, Business, Laundry per the Hotwire Canada Hotel List while the 3* is not on the list. Could not identify with a package search, it could be the Ramada Limited - 435 WEST PENDER ST
thereuare Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 I would also add the Comfort Inn to the possibilities for the 3* above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
