terry Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Hi i am a new member and just found Hotwire on the web.My wife and i are at the end of a six month retirement trip and about to spend four weeks in the USA before returning to Australia. We need find to find a hotel for three nights in NYC say 3.5 star,we prefer to walk everwhere but will also buy a Metrocard. Any tips on prices would help greatly,we are very flexible but would prefer a reasonably safe area. Our dates are 7,8,9th October. Also we are paying for this with Aussie dollars which can be quite scary so pricing is a bit of a factor. All help much appreciated. Thanks Terry
dave Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 TerryPerhaps you could start a new thread and indicate your budget per night.I have booked a room for around those dates for a friend so maybe can give some pointers.
thereuare Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!I have separated the post(s) so no need to start a new thread. As dave asks above, what is your maximum amount per nite that you are willing to spend? With that information we will be able to help you try to get the best deal for your stay.PS- congratulations on your retirement :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
