Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Orlando (Airport MCO) Hampton Inn Orlando-International Airport

After taxes and fees NYOP bid was $39 at the Hampton Inn. We were trying for this hotel to get an extra night after already staying here for ten days with a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. We asked the manager but the hotel would not extend the same low Express Deal rate of course. We were lucky and just happened to win the exact same hotel with our NYOP bid. Interestingly, the previous Express Deal rate of $44 before taxes and fees ended up at $50 a night after taxes and fees. At the exact same hotel, our NYOP winning bid of $39 before taxes and fees ended up at $49.46 after taxes and fees. Both purchases used the priceline "summer" discount code for 5% additional off (I didn't know NYOP bids could use this). It seems NYOP fees are higher...?
