the ameities above are from a 83 dollar hotel for the same period.

The other hotel has more extra amenities:

I'm a little confused as i only see one hotel being discussed. When i search HOTWIRE for your dates (and 2adults/1child) i see a 3* hotel with the following amenities:

My best guess for this one would be the San Jose Airport Hotel.
