mojorizen
First rule, follow the links from the site to book. Check.Looking at going to Cancun in May 2014. Going to try and get a 5* using NYOP in the Cancun hotel zone or hotel zone south. Wondering when should I start trying to book as I've never used Priceline for anything out of the US. I've used them for multiple flights and hotels stateside, and I typically book those roughly 1-3 (sometimes much less for hotels) months out.I will now shut up and listen.Thanks. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)It's pretty early to book for Spring of next year, but one wait or could start looking around and planning initial lowball bids (plan a low ceiling, try up to that ceiling one every week or two, then move that price ceiling up over time.) Please provide the details of the stay - date/s, destination, desired zone/star rating/budget per night.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. mojorizen
Also another question thanks to my wife. Are all the resorts I try NYOP on all-inclusive? Or is it more of a crapshoot? Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Name Your Own Price in this area would be for just a hotel room... for an all-inclusive property in this region you would need to use HOTWIRE and look for the All-Inclusive option. In some regions PRICELINE does offer bidding on all-inclusive properties, but not here. An example of bidding for an all-inclusive property see the following:1) enter 'Punta Cana, Dominican Republic' on the top right corner of this page2a) see zone #3 Juan Dolio - Boca Chica Oceanfront - All Inclusive2b) place a checkmark next to the 'Punta Cana-Bavaro' zone (and make sure ONLY that zone is selected)... next to the 4.5* star rating you'll see the amenity 'ALL INCLU'2a and 2b above would be ways to bid on all-inclusive properties, but none of these options exist for the Cancun region. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. mojorizen
Due to my wife's inability to take vacation until late May or early June we wont be going till January 2015. So we will be going to Vegas in January of 2014 instead. Link to comment
