Hotwire Hotel: 3* NYC (MTS) Sheraton Russell

Tried booking this for a friend using Firefox yesterday but stup*d Hotwire said "this itineary is no longer available." Rate then increased to $190.

Tried again today and failed with $173 rate with same response.

Fortunately, IE still open and went ahead and booked it. Thereafter, rate increased to $190!

Official Sheraton rate $329.

thereuare: Please update the Hotwire Hotel list to 3* as it is previously listed as 3.5*. It is also in the Midtown Central (Midtown) district instead of Midtown South.

What is the address of this property, as the Sheraton Russell is most definately in the MTS zone according to Hotwire's map... there are other Sheratons in the MTC zone.

What were the amenities shown before your purchase?

Amenities were 3* Resturant & Fitness Center.

It is indeed in MTS. Sorry I confused it with another property in Midtown Central with similar amenities and at the same rate before i purchased.

Please double-check... are you sure it was not Fitness and Business (as previously reported for this property, as well as what is currently showing for a 3* in the MTS zone for the above date)

Yet another error on my part....might be the bidding into the late nights :)

The amenities are correct except it's no longer 3.5*.
