Multiple Rooms with 1 name?

Okay, I'm planning a trip for some university students up to Boston. All total, I'm going to need probably 8 - 12 rooms. Not staying at the same hotel is no big deal, so i'm going to try to save a few bucks by trying multiple 4 room bids at Priceline.

Unfortunately, Priceline forces you to assign a name to each room at the time of bidding. I don't know yet exactly which students are going, so I don't want to assign a name to a room and have that person end up not coming. Can I simply assign all the rooms to MY name and do all the check-ins myself?

Thanks,

Steve

That's fine as long as you are not ill or unable to make the trip for some unforseen reason. If you know one other persons name you might want to split it just in case.

You could of course hold on till the others are committed. It would not be a bragain if you booked and paid for a room you didn't need.
