How will you get to the hotel, will you have a car?

Was the Saddle Brook - Hasbrouck Heights zone your first choice, or did you start bidding in another area?

Can you please post your bidding history of bids that were rejected?

The hotel is a bit old and, at least from the outside, rundown looking.

For your commute (assuming you're driving yourself into NYC) you will likely be taking the GW Bridge which will be a straight shot up Route 4, but if your schedule is flexible i wouldn't leave before 9:30 am as you will hit a LOT of traffic.

One reco i've had to board members that are remotely in this area is try the chicken parm hero i grew up on. It's from a nearby local pizzeria called La Bella Roma... nothing gourmet about it, but it's damn tasty. It's a real 'local' place that from the outside you'd never really notice or think about heading into, but it's a family place that has a very loyal following and makes a great chix parm hero (and at ~$6 for the large size is a great deal):

La Bella Roma Pizzeria 35 N Farview Ave, Paramus, 07652 - (201) 843-8687

I just stayed here a few weeks ago, had problems with the hotel WiFi system, several of the antennas were not connected to the network, I could not even connect in the lobby. No maintenance staff on duty to fix the problem, all I was given was an "800" number to call tech support. The staff is not rude, they really just don't care to give good service. There is a restaurant and bar connected to the Hotel, but your dining options are limited in this neighborhood, do try the Chicken Parm Hero, a mighty fine sandwich. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is that you paid $55 for your room. I wouldn't even think of paying the rack rate at this place, or at many Radisson's for that matter, its on the par or below a Holiday Inn.

With a car, your dining options are many, you will pass through Ft. Lee and Palisaides Park on your way to the George Washington Bridge, home to many good Asian restaurants. I am a big fan of Korean Barbecue, your food is cooked on a grill built into your table, wrap it up in a lettuce leaf, great stuff!! Once in Manhattan, you will also pass by 125th street in Harlem and Sylvia's, a great place for Southern cooking.

The morning traffic heading into Manhattan is beyond description, you will want to give yourself plenty of time
