Followed the following strategy:

Started at $75 for a 4* at Westminster only - rejected

Then closed the browser and tried $75 for Kensington Earl's Court - rejected

Then closed the browser and tried $75 for Bloomsbury - Marble Arch - rejected

Then closed the browser and tried $75 for Regents Park - North London - accepted straight away.

Followed this forum for guidance on bidding strategy found in another thread and used the PRICELINE links. A bit out of the way from where I want to be, but I just realised I have stayed at this hotel before (paid $87 last time strangely enough for June 7 as well), and it's actually pretty well connected public transport wise. Only downside is no free wifi ;)
