Priceline Hotel: Asking strategies for bidding 4* in TS

First time to bid. Target in Times Square. Max 220. Is it possible for this price? Can u share the strategies? Many thanks! :-)

Is TS the only acceptable zone? Other nearby zones (MTE, for example) are convenient, less busy/hectic and (usually) at least moderately cheaper.

Also, you may want to give this thread a read: Hotels Near Times Square. While i wouldn't avoid Times Square, it's also not necessary (imo) to only focus on this one zone. However, if this is the only zone you're willing to accept, i do think that you can be successful near your maximum bid of $220.

Thanks for yr advice. As this is the first time we visit NY, we prefer to stay in TS. Last night I had tried 220 by only choose one zone...however, it was failed....

Pls advise how I can make it.

Unfortunately the hotel i previously saw offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS is no longer available.

You can:

• wait it out and hope for lower prices in the weeks ahead
• consider other nearby zones
• lower your star rating
• raise your bid
• SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID
