tignor
Maybe a beach nearby? Doesn't explain why they have one next to Soho for New York City. I can't find anything on Priceline or here about that icon... Link to comment
thereuare
I don't see the umbrella that you're referenceing, but my guess it is 'left over' from when PRICELINE used the 'Resort' designation and treated them as 4.5* properties... it may now be showing for any zone that offers 4.5* rated properties (which PRICELINE is now using a 'true' 4.5* rating to indicate hotels that are better then 4* but not yet up to 5* quality)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. tignor
They show up on the list after you make your first bid and increase it. Don't know why they are there, but they are there on a few of the areas. Chelsea, Midtown East, Midtown West, SoHo and Times Square. I wish I could post a screenshot but I don't have a flickr account or anything. I could email it to you if you PM me your email address and want to see it. Link to comment
thereuare
If you're seeing this next to:CPS, Chelsea, DT, ESB, MTE, MTW, Soho, TS and UES... then it would appear that this is 'left over programming' from when PRICELINE treated the 4.5* designation as 'Resort' (but now uses a 4.5* rating as a property rated higher then 4* but below 5*)If it's not appearing for most of the zones i've listed above you can email me a screenshot, but i really don't think it's anything more than i've indicated and wouldn't worry about it at all. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
