jfl Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 Used PRICELINE to start. I offered $60 for a 3.5* in Westport for 5/15/13-5/17/13 and was rejected, but offered $79 with no changes. The same thing happened last night after I tried to extend by 2 days after getting the Sheraton Westport Chalet for $57. Does this mean $79 is the lowest for this area?
yellowdog Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 No, not necessarily. It's an indication that PRICELINE got a hotel for you if you take the $79 bait. Most of the time can this offer be undercut. You plenty of free zones to use so I would bid in $3 steps strating at $60.Good luck and let us know the outcome.Thanx for using boards PRICELINE linkYellowdog.
