Hotwire Hotel: 4* Hotwire or 4.5* Priceline - Palm Springs Rancho Mirage Indian Wells help

Using the links on this site I found 2 options I am considering...

2 adults 2 nights 05/31 - 06/02

My preference is PRICELINE

4.5 star deluxe plus in Rancho Mirage Indian Wells Palm Desert

From my research online and through various threads here it looks like JW Marriott. I've tried that hotel on many sites and its sold out everywhere so is there still a chance that this is the hotel on Priceline? Also on the express deals they don't have any 4.5 star hotels.... I dont know any other 4.5 star hotels in that area

My 2nd choice is on HOTWIRE. (I really prefer 4.5 stars of 4)

We have seen hotels won when they were otherwise showing a sold-out position as the hotel's own website, but this is much more the exception then the rule. So while you can't exclude receiving the JW Marriott, the odds are greatly diminished as a result of the hotel showing no availability.

Best guess for the HOTWIRE property would be the Hyatt.

It's possible the JW Marriott is the only 4.5* rated hotel in the zone and is not available for your dates... when PRICELINE shows you star ratings that are offered in the zone, it's is without regard to available inventory, PRICELINE has not checked availability at this point in the bidding process.
