My first bid was at $52 and I was expecting something else, since I had booked this hotel last November under 2.5 star and got it then for $47. My plan was to bid again at $47 at the 2.5 star level if the 3 star failed, but I got it immediately, and was surprised to see that Priceline had upgraded the hotel from 2.5 to 3. I'm a bit amazed by this since 2.5 it was for sure, but 3 star is a bit high for this property.
