I'm interested in booking a hotwire hotel listed now for $180.00 and it's 4* in San Diego Gaslamp Quarter South - convention area....for August 20-24. I'm thinking it might Hotel Solamar, which I would like, but wanted to check on your thoughts. The amenities are listed as: pet friendly, free internet, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet access, accessible for the blind, accessible for the deaf, accessible path of travel, in-room accessiblity, accessible bathrooom, handicapped parking, and roll-in shower.

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

No it's $180.00 per night (with $230 crossed out above it, for price comparison), 2 adults, 2 kids, August 20-24 in San Diego, Gaslamp Quarter South-Convention Ctr area, it's a 4* hotel, all the exact amenities I have listed below, does not say boutique. 95% hotwire customer reviews recommend and 4.5 from tripadvisor.

Why not just book the Solamar on Lastminutetravel.com for $154/nite (Club price)...if you're not a club member, just call for that rate. Cancellable up to 3 days prior to checkin. 2 adults/2 children.

I'm still not seeing this property offered for your dates.

Does the Solamar work for your needs and/or of interest? I'll add that i also see on HOTWIRE a 4* hotel in the Gaslamp South zone for just $116/nite which i'm guessing is the Westin Gaslamp, should this be of interest as it would seem to offer some nice savings vs. the other offers.

If you are still seeing the property you're listing above my guess for this one would be the Solamar.
