i am new to this just trying to get the most bang for my buck can anyone help me through this, never been there, i am not thurston howell the third but would like to live like him for a few days in the keys from 02/15/2013 to 02/18/2013

Are you willing to pay more for a Resort vs. a 4* vs. a 3.5*... OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this trip?

HOTWIRE has a Key West $184 2* and a Marathon $201 3* for your dates. One tends to be able to do a little bit better with PRICELINE bidding, but not necessarily so. This is roughly what you might get with PL.

You can check the Priceline hotel lists for Florida and see the 3.5* hotels which have been reported to the board, but there could always be other properties not yet reported. It's very difficult to say which hotel will accept your bid.

What is the going rate for a 3-4* property for your dates of travel?
