Hi there,

I'll be there on a trip with my family from the 1/10/2013 - 1/12/2013, but so far the prices I've been getting are crazily high (I've been to Vegas before so I have an idea of prices). My goal is to get a 5* Las Vegas North for under $150, which I tried with PRICELINE but did not win. Apparently for those dates the price on HOTWIRE is something like $220/night for 5* Vegas North. My question is, is it possible to get better rates if I try back another time? It's a Thursday and Friday, I didn't know even Thursday nights are so expensive, especially it's after new years. If not, I might need to aim for a 4* South which is on at $82/night.

The amenities for this 4* south are as followed:

Resort

Free Parking

Free Internet

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

If I'm going with the 5* south, amenities are as followed:

Free Parking

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Wheelchair accessible

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

Please advise on which hotels. Thank you!

Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Las Vegas thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip (if you changed the dates and it was the same trip as this priceline win let us know so we can merge the threads)

What is the room rate per nite for each of the properties above?

I'll be there on a trip with my family from the 1/10/2013 - 1/12/2013...

This is the tail end of the Consumer Electronics Show which is one of the largest conventions of the year in Vegas with an expected attendance of nearly 150K people. Officially the show ends on Jan 11 but i suspect some will stay the weekend to unwind after the conference.

For the HOTWIRE hotels above how many rooms/adults/children are you including in your search?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and please click each of these previous links above before replying.

Thanks.

How did you book this... PRICELINE, PRICELINE EXPRESS, HOTWIRE, some other source?

If HOTWIRE, can you please add a reply to this thread with the room rate per nite and the amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. (if PRICELINE you can likely see this information using the MY ACCOUNT >> MY TRIPS link on the top right of their home page)
