(See my earlier posts about Nov. 10-12.) After my bids for a 4-star downtown hotel up to $75 were rejected, I split my bids. I again got a priceline winning bid at the Crowne Plaza for the Saturday night and, again, won the Hotel Minneapolis, Autograph Collection for my non-Saturday stay; my November stay was Sat.-Mon., and my December stay is Fri.-Sun.)After my bids for a 3.5 star hotel (in the downtown area and, then, in the Airport - Mall of America area) up to $65 were rejected, I then lowered my star level to 3. I bid $45 (rejected); increased to $50 (rejected); and then increased to $55 (ACCEPTED).Hotel website price for this hotel is $80.99. BTW, this hotel is directly across the street from a light rail stop and is very convenient. Link to comment
